What? Hamburger is Healthy!
Today I used Yahoo! to find more info on ‘hamburger meat’.. And this is one of the many results I found:
We had a meat, a vegetable, a starch or two and sometimes a serving of f ruit was thrown in there. … My grandmas were still serving margarine at the table and processed boxed foods were popular (who can forget Hamburger Helper, Jello and Kraft foods?)…Tell me a red meat that is “healthful” and I will return you a plant food that knocks red meat out of the park in more ways than one. … and “where do you get your protein?” and don’t forget, “What? Hamburger is healthy!”…
Hmmm, I have too look further into that for my Cooking blog.
time to do a little grilling
It begins by highlighting the incredible destruction wrought on Stephanie Smith, a healthy 22-year-old, by ingesting hamburger contaminated with E. coli bacteria. … erived from scraps that were ground together at a plant in Wisconsin….At this point in my life, not for any real reason but just cos thats how it is, I eat very little beef, and almost no hamburger; … I leave the ground stuff for the kids, who are little carnivores….
Ah, well, back to the drawing board and try again.

Which is saying something since there are only 4 cities in the whole continent and 3 of them are named after dishes at the Outback Steakhouse. Love my Alice Springs Chicken! … But I would be incessantly friendly and happy too if I could get by with charging $15. 00 for a paper cup full of tap water. $38 for a hamburger? Really?…
Not exactly what I was looking for, nevertheless still a good read.
